What started out as something a "little bit ambitious" on the Sunshine Coast in 2022, Forward Fest is now recognised by the Queensland Government as one of Queensland’s top 3 annual innovation business events.
Forward Fest (FWD) is more than just a business festival - it's a platform that has the potential to transform businesses and drive economic growth. Hosted by Silicon Coast, an extraordinary not-for-profit organisation engulfing a geographic region with invisible borders. The festival stimulated the continual drive for entrepreneurial culture with purpose-led collaborative collisions supporting and partnering with five (5) LGA’s including Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast, Noosa, Gympie and Fraser Coast - otherwise know as "The Silicon Coast" region.
Our mission is to develop, support, and steward a nationally accessible, vibrant ecosystem maximising collaboration, creativity, innovation and sharing. We actively unite with other networks supporting Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on the Silicon Coast to stage events such as Forward Fest in this regional entrepreneurship hotspot.
